Instructors are paid an hourly wage on a contract basis for the teaching hours assigned for each course based on education, years of experience etc. Part-Time and sessional faculty can receive payment for attending meetings. Be sure to ask about a contract for any meetings you may wish to attend.

Coordinators

Some instructors are contracted to perform coordinator duties, it is recommended that if you are asked to coordinate that you use the coordinator responsibility template to assist in outline your duties before accepting the contract. For more information about the coordinator role, take a look at the Coordinator information page. (Some information may not apply)
Although Part-Time faculty are not members of the union, Local237 is dedicated to supporting all faculty and counsellors at Conestoga. Please reach out to the steward in your school for information or support.
Benefits (You Pay)
