Your Rights (PL)
As a member, your rights are protected under the collective agreement. The list below includes some "every day" rights that you have as an employee under the collective agreement. In no particular order

You have the right to: ​

all provisions in the collective agreement

representation by your local (local rep can attend meetings as an observer)

OPSEU legal representation

a work environment with no intimidation, discrimination, interference, restraint, or coercion. -grieve
-
exercise academic freedom in the performance of their duties (Article 13.04).

leaves of absence
-
coverage under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act

have a union representative present at any meeting
-
request that a meeting be rescheduled or adjourned for another time
-
have required work in writing prior to accepting assigned tasks

not volunteer your time
