Bargaining 2026/27
Shape Our Next Collective Agreement:
Join the Bargaining Advisory Committee (BAC)

As we move into the next phase of our bargaining cycle, we are officially establishing our Bargaining Advisory Committee (BAC). This committee plays a vital role in ensuring our collective voice is heard loud and clear at the table.
Interested in representing your local? Here is what you need to know:
How it Works
Local Representation: Each local may elect or appoint one full-time or partial-load member to the BAC.
Learn More: Review the [Bargaining Advisory Committee Overview] for a detailed look at the committee's goals and positions for this round.

DivEx will select the remaining positions with vacancies:

-
Partial-Load members (8 positions)
-
Counsellors (3 members)
-
Librarians (3 members)
Ready to Apply?
If you want to step up for your local, please review the attached document and connect with your local leadership. Submission Deadline: Local executives must email their selected representative's name and contact info to divexcaata@gmail.com as soon as possible. Candidates will be selected mid-June and we are hoping that the BAC training will take place before the end of June (flexible to the availability of the BAC members).

When reviewing applications, the DivEx will take into consideration experience, regional representation, diversity of equity-deserving groups, sizes of colleges, etc.
If you have any questions, please reach out to us at divexcaata@gmail.com.
